Turn the piston knob forward. The ink reservoir with breather-tube assembly moves forward as a unit.

Lock & Purge

Reservoir bottoms out. N52 magnet locks it in place. Piston continues forward, expelling residual ink.

Draw

Reverse the knob. Magnetic pull exceeds friction — piston draws ink through the breather-tube into the reservoir.

Retract

Piston fully retracts. Pull force overcomes magnet — the entire assembly returns to its resting position.
